ISRO Technicain’s Educational Qualification
- Technical Assistant: Requires a three-year Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with first class.
- Technician ‘B’: SSLC/SSC pass plus ITI/NTC/NAC in the relevant trade such as Welder, Electronic Mechanic, Fitter, or Turner from NCVT.
- Drivers: SSLC/SSC pass with a valid driving license and specified years of driving experience.
- Cook: SSLC/SSC pass with five years of experience in cooking in a reputed Hotel/Canteen.

Post No. 773 & 774 (Technical Assistant): All applicants must initially pay ₹750. Fee-exempted candidates (Women, SC/ST, PWBD, Ex-servicemen) will get a full refund. Others will be refunded ₹500 after retaining ₹250.
Post No. 775-783 (Technician ‘B’, Driver, Cook): All applicants must pay ₹500. Fee-exempted candidates will get a full refund. Others will be refunded ₹400 after retaining ₹100.

ISRO LPSC Technician Selection Process
The selection process for ISRO LPSC Technician recruitment comprises two stages:
Written Test- This test has multiple-choice questions about the job you’re applying for. If you’re applying for the Technician ‘B’ role, you’ll have 90 minutes to complete the test. For other roles like Heavy Vehicle Driver, the test lasts 120 minutes. This tests your knowledge and understanding of the trade. The final selection will be made amongst qualified candidates, purely based on the scores obtained in the written test.
Skill Test- Candidates who qualify for the written test will be shortlisted for the skill test, which is a ‘go-no-go’ type test. The skill test is qualifying and does not carry marks towards the final selection.
